LA DOLCE VITA

A women’s embodiment retreat in Italy

Biomasseria Lama di Luna, Puglia, Italy
July 3–10 · 2026
Hosted by Alice Maisetti

Your Invitation

There are moments in a woman’s life when what she needs most
is not more effort —
but more presence.

More space to feel herself.
More beauty to soften her body.
More time to inhabit her life from within.

La dolce vita is often translated as “the sweet life,”
but in its truest sense, it is a way of living that honors presence over rushing, sensation over striving, and connection over performance.

It is the art of allowing life to touch you.

This retreat is an embodied expression of la dolce vita.

Held in the South of Italy, it is an invitation to land in your body, to enjoy your aliveness, and to feel your beauty — not as something to achieve, but as something already alive within you.

Here, femininity is not something you do.
It is something you allow.

You soften.
You receive.
You remember how good it feels to be fully here.

This is a space to be held by the land, the rhythm of the days, and the warmth of women gathering together —
to live embodiment through beauty, presence, and the sweetness of being alive.

The Essence of this Retreat

Every retreat I create is shaped by the land that holds it — and this land holds me.

Southern Italy is where I spent my summers growing up.
It is where my body learned slowness, warmth, and presence long before I had words for embodiment.
Some of my most precious memories live here — long days under the sun, shared meals, open doors, laughter, and the feeling of being deeply nourished by life itself.

I know this land intimately.
Its rhythm.
Its generosity.
Its way of softening you without asking.

La Dolce Vita carries the energy of this place — an energy that naturally invites the body to slow down, the nervous system to soften, and the heart to open.

This retreat is an invitation into my culture, my people, my food, and my way of living.
An invitation to experience embodiment through everyday moments — through the senses, the rhythm of the days, shared meals, movement, rest, and connection.

Here, depth is not something we force.
It emerges naturally when the body feels safe, nourished, and present.

This is how I learned to live as a woman.
And it is a joy to share it with you.

Who This Retreat is For

This retreat is for the woman who feels a quiet longing for more ease, beauty, and presence in her life.

For the woman who has been giving a lot — to her work, her family, her relationships — and feels ready to receive.
For the woman who senses that life has become full, yet something essential has been left behind.
For the woman who wants to slow down, soften, and reconnect with herself in a way that feels natural and nourishing.

This space welcomes women in different seasons of life — those moving through change, those needing rest and renewal, and those who simply want to feel more alive, embodied, and connected.

You don’t need to arrive with a goal.
You don’t need to know what will open.

This retreat is for you if your body says yes — if you feel drawn to beauty, sisterhood, and the art of living well.

The Work We Do Together

The work we share during La Dolce Vita is rooted in embodiment, nervous system wisdom, and feminine intelligence — expressed through ease, presence, and pleasure.

Each day includes:

  • Yoga and somatic flows that reconnect you with your body and awaken sensual awareness

  • Breathwork, sound, and guided meditations that support emotional regulation, clarity, and inner spaciousness

  • Women’s circles and shared spaces where we speak honestly, listen deeply, and are witnessed

This is feminine inner work — held with softness, safety, and care.

There is room for surrender.
For feeling.
For remembering what your body already knows.

The work unfolds naturally, woven into the rhythm of the days, the beauty of the land, and the warmth of being together.

It is the kind of work that doesn’t ask you to push or force —
yet gently reshapes how you relate to yourself, to others, and to your life.

Working with women over the years has transformed me deeply.

Time and time again, I have witnessed how something sacred unfolds when women come together — when defenses soften, masks fall away, and we are met in truth, not judgment.

There is a remembering that happens in these spaces.
A sense of belonging that goes beyond words.
A feeling of being seen and held exactly as we are.

At the heart of La Dolce Vita is this togetherness.

Women gathering without needing to perform.
Listening without fixing.
Sharing without pressure.

There is space for conversation, silence, laughter, tenderness, and warmth.

Community is not created by effort —
It grows when women feel safe enough to be themselves.

This is sisterhood as I know it: simple, honest, and deeply nourishing.

And it is one of the most powerful forces for transformation I have ever experienced — both as a guide, and as a woman walking this path alongside you.

Sisterhood and Being Held

Our Home for the Week

Nestled in 200+ hectares of organically cultivated olive groves, vineyards, and almond fields, Lama di Luna is an 18th-century biomasseria — a traditional Southern Italian farmhouse lovingly restored to honor both history and nature.

More than accommodation, Lama di Luna is a living landscape where ancient architecture, gentle rhythms of the land, and sustainable practices coalesce into a quiet refuge. The estate was restored with respect for its original soul — using natural materials, traditional techniques, and thoughtful bio-design that preserves harmony with the land.

Here you encounter the genuine spirit of Puglia:
swaying olive trees, fields that fill with light, and a pace that invites the body to soften and the heart to open.

Accomodation

We offer a selection of room types — each with its own character and gentle invitation to rest:

  1. Single Occupancy Room

  2. Single Deluxe (Only One Available)

What Women Are Saying

“Alice’s retreat helped me work, more than anything, on acceptance toward myself.
Through the stories of the other women, I realized that my struggles are not only mine — they are shared. And because of that, they suddenly felt lighter.

I felt a power within me that had always been there, but for a long time it was clouded. Now there is clarity. I can see myself more clearly.

I know the path ahead won’t be easy — there will be hard steps. Really hard ones.
But now I know myself more deeply.

I now have practices I can choose from, depending on what I need in different moments of my life.

I leave feeling more grounded, clearer, and connected to my inner power.”

Anna Laghi, retreat participan

“Alice is so special to me. Truly one of a kind.

What makes her special is her range and her depth. She is deeply loving and compassionate, with an incredible ability to truly hold space. In her presence, I feel held, seen, valued, and genuinely cared for.

And at the same time, there is a powerful directness — no sugar-coating. There is truth, and only truth. She embodies truth, and you feel it simply by being around her.

And then there’s the other side of her — the fun. You won’t find anyone as fun as her. If you’re around her, you will have fun. You’ll get weird. Be ready for belly laughs, dancing, howling, play, and deep joy.

She brings depth, truth, and so much aliveness into one space — and that combination is rare.”

Meghan Thompson, retreat participant

“When I think of Alice, the phrase that comes to mind is a force of nature.
She’s like a wave of sunlight you can’t avoid — powerful, warm, and alive.

Being around her feels like seeing the best version of myself. Like witnessing my own essence fully embodied — something I know lives in me, even if I haven’t fully unleashed it yet.

To see someone live with that level of honesty and authenticity is incredibly beautiful. It gives me hope. It shows me that it’s possible to be deeply warm, kind, and giving — without losing yourself, without crossing your own boundaries.

She embodies a rare balance: offering so much, while still honoring herself. Taking care of herself. Holding clear boundaries.

And that, to me, is deeply inspiring.”

Laura Kroner, retreat participant

A Final Invitation

If something in you has been quietly saying yes as you read this, trust that.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need to be “ready” in a perfect way.

You’re invited to follow what feels true — whether that means reserving your place now, or connecting with me first to explore if this retreat is right for you.

Both paths are welcome.
